Our church is big enough so that you can just blend in and small enough so that you will feel welcome in our Sunday service. What you will notice at bluecross is that we are a church that is real and relevant – not religious.
We want to give everyday people every opportunity to discover God and become fully devoted to Him. Our hope is that on any given Sunday, when you decide to check church out, that is exactly what will happen.
WHAT’S IT LIKE?
Open House service. This is our “taste and see” meeting; just like a real estate open house, this meeting is designed for you to be able to check church out in a welcoming and friendly environment. While the kids are having a great time in creche or Sunday School out the back, you can relax. It’s to let you know that church is fun and interesting – and short – a great way to start your week! In pursuit of an unforgettable experience every Sunday, our get togethers have 3 components jam packed into a 70 min service: powerful worship, an impact section and a life-changing message. After church you can shoot through or hang around to enjoy the after party.
WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
There are 3 options for kids on Sunday mornings:
1. You can feel completely free to keep your kids with you through the service. You will be made aware of our kids facilities – you won’t be asked to take your kids out. We are a family friendly church.
2. Our creche is for 1 – 3 year olds and runs for the duration of the service. Daniel and Mandy co-ordinate a team of parents whose wish is that every child feels comfortable and loved so that their parents are able to relax in the meeting.
3. Little warriors is for children aged 3+ and also runs for the duration of the service. Julie heads up a fantastic program that the kids absolutely love. High energy, music, stories and activities are just some of the things incorporated into our Sunday kids program. Your children will feel welcome, accepted, and learn about how unique they are in God’s sight.
